Mr. Rukhsar Ahmed (ACA, FCCA, APA, CFE)
Managing Partner
Rukhsar Ahmed is the managing partner of the firm and is an Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a fellow member of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, England. He is the founder partner of RA & Co and has a working experience of almost ten years.
Before establishing RA & Co, Mr Ahmed was working with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has extensive experience of large audit assignments involving several multi-location programs and a large range of project audits and donor support services. He also possesses vast experience in directing assignments related to review of internal controls and monitoring, review and appraisal systems for various not for profit organizations. He has conducted the audits of listed companies, private limited companies, Banks, Financial Institutions, Public Sector Entities as well as directed audits of Asian Development Bank funded projects, United Nations Development Program funded projects, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Afghanistan, United Nations International Drug Control Program, USAID, US Protection and Intelligence Company, Afghanistan Concern Worldwide Limited, Afghanistan, World Vision and Save the Children along with audits of the grants disbursed by Royal Netherlands Embassy to the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, International Irrigation Management Institute (IIMI), Social Forestry Project and Fata Integrated Agricultural Development Project. He was also the assignment leader on the review of Business Efficiency Improvement Project of United Nations Development Programme, Pakistan.
Besides, he was also involved in the audit of various projects and programmes of International not for profit organizations including Netherlands Organisation for International Development Corporation (NOVIB), Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), Ockenden International, FOCUS Humanitarian Assistance – Europe Foundation and International Union for Conservation of Nature. He has prior experience of working in Tajikistan, Afghanistan as well.
Mr. Sultan Muhammad Khan (ITP)

Mr Khan is a tax practitioner and possess a wide spectrum experience on assurance, taxation and advisory assignments. Before joining RA & Co, he has been working with United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and A.F. Ferguson & Co. a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr Khan has been practicing in almost all major facets of tax and business advisory.
Apart from assurance and advisory services, Mr Khan also holds expertise and specialty in taxation and fiscal laws. His major expertise and specialty is in taxation and fiscal laws. Working at RA & Co. he has been independently dealing with tax compliance and advisory related matters for versatile spectrum of clientele. Compliance matters related to filing of income tax returns, sales tax returns, statements and pleading cases from Assessing Officer level to Appellate Tribunal is the discipline where he holds major expertise. Apart from compliance matters, he has been dealing advising the clients on complex corporate matters to individual salary taxation to minimize the fiscal exposure.
With USAID, Mr Khan was heading the internal audit department of an economic growth project, Competitiveness Support Fund.
With PricewaterhouseCoopers, his major assurance engagement work includes clients from financial sector, telecommunication sector, microfinance institutions, oil and gas sector, USAID, ADB, World Bank and internal audit assignments. His consulting and financial appraisal work includes Rehabilitation of Economic Facilities Services (REFS) Program, Afghanistan, Pre-award Assessment of Implementing Partners of Oxfam Novib in Pakistan, Macro Assessment of Pakistan Public Financial Management System for United Nations Development Program in Pakistan, Micro Assessment of UN ExCom Agencies Implementing Partners in Pakistan, Organizational Review of a large implementing Agency for European Commission in Afghanistan, Diagnostic Review of Christian Children Fund, Afghanistan Procurement reviews for World Vision Pakistan, Execution of Recovery Compilation Process for a large implementing agency in Afghanistan on behalf of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Afghanistan.
